On the Tip of My Heart: Digital Style

On the Tip of My Heart was a drag show about F E E L I N G S that I started producing in 2018.

The idea was that, our feelings (generalizing between emotions and sensory experiences) are ways that we hold and perceive the world. For artists who practice their crafts of expression and hone their relationships with their senses, there is a lot of data about the world within our bodies. By creating a platform for artists to express their hardest, wildest, weirdest, most tragic, inane, profound, etc., feelings, we can get a snapshot of the community and the time.

And then covid hit.

As the drag community swerved to attempt digital drag shows, it was a time where we were forced to develop new skills in technology and communications.

We rarely saw each other.

There was a LOT of introspection.

And the world ended once every couple of months.

This ended up being the final On the Tip of My Heart after about a year and a half of running onstage every month.
