This number is about community. I was thinking about the shape of community and connections, how relationships form bridges between people throughout a network that begins to look like a mycelial root mass.

So I imagined what it would be like to travel through those tunnels of connections.

The materials I had on hand to make these tunnels were fabrics and blankets, but that ended up being a great component of this art, lending to the imagery of a blanket fort and a sense of comfort and intimacy.
